HOW DO I GET FOOD?
Call the San Diego Food Bank toll free at 1-866-350-FOOD (3663) to learn about food programs and services in your area. Someone will be available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. |

DOES THE SAN DIEGO FOOD BANK PROVIDE FOOD TO RESIDENTS IN AREAS OTHER THAN THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO?
SDFB provides food to any resident of the San Diego County. We have distribution sites in east county, north county, south bay, beach area and central San Diego. |

I HAVE CHILDREN, IS THERE A PROGRAM TO GET FOOD FOR THEM?
Yes, SDFB offers the Commodities Supplemental Food Program for children to the age of six. If your children are older than six, you can obtain food from the Emergency Food Assistance Program. Please call toll free 1-866-350-FOOD (3663) to enroll or find a distribution site. |

I AM SENIOR, WHERE CAN I GET HELP?
The Brown Bag Program provides monthly bags of groceries to low-income seniors who are 60 years of age or older. Please call toll free 1-866-350-FOOD (3663) to enroll or find a distribution site. |

CAN I GET FOOD FROM MORE THAN ONE PROGRAM?
Yes, if you qualify you may participate in Commodities Supplemental Food Program or Brown Bag Program and the Emergency Food Assistance Program. You may also receive a referral to a local pantry or hot meal program. |

WHERE CAN I DROP OFF FOOD?
SDFB can accept non-perishable food donations at our warehouse during our receiving hours - Monday through Friday 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. If our warehouse location is not convenient, or its during the holidays, please call us at 1-866-350-FOOD (3663) to find a collection site near you.

HOW DOES SDFB FIGHT HUNGER?
SDFB provides food to individuals and families through our various food programs. Additionally, SDFB distributes food to more than 200 non-profit partners in our Charity Food Program that work to alleviate hunger throughout the community. This provides a network of food distribution services throughout San Diego County. |

WHERE DOES YOUR FOOD COME FROM?
The USDA provides the food for our EFAP, CSFP and Soup Kitchen Program. Our other programs benefit from community food drives and donations from wholesalers, producers, farmers and food brokers. SDFB also receives donations from national food donors. |
